Les Séries en Helvétie… What a Story !

In July 2008, Rémy and Yves participated in the « Ballade du 60ème », organized by the French club « Le Temps des Séries » in England.
A packed program : a memorable visit to the Land Rover factory, the Billing Show, and a warm welcome by the OLLR club in the Peak District region. A reception that left a lasting impression and sparked some ideas…

On the way back, the seed was planted : we have stunning landscapes, a military training ground nearby, and understanding authorities.
Our friends back in Switzerland were thrilled with our project, and our authorities, both civil and military, supported us : Bravo!
Our first gathering was underway. The clubs « Le Temps des Séries » and « LROS, Land Rover of Switzerland » helped us from a distance with translations, advice, registrations, and much more. Thus, in July 2009, the first edition took place !

After this fantastic success, we couldn’t wait to do it again, and we decided to organize the event every two years.
The 2nd edition, in July 2011, welcomed 55 Series vehicles over the weekend and 87 for the Sunday photo, including 16 Series I.

Our event became international, attracting participants from France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and England.

Since 2014, we decided to alternate the event with the D-Days (Defender Days).
For a weekend, we welcome all models of the Land Rover range.
Good humor and conviviality are always part of the experience.

A discreet but essential figure, always present around the canopy, where the important things happen. Not very talkative, he doesn’t need many words to demonstrate his efficiency. Reliable and available, he’s the one you can always count on to ensure everything runs smoothly, even in the most demanding situations. Sometimes a bit forgetful, but always ready to set things right with good humor and efficiency. Passionate about conviviality, he loves to share a drink while recounting one of his countless anecdotes. A great traveler in the series, he explores Europe behind the wheel of his trusty Land Rover, enriching every encounter with captivating stories and unforgettable adventures. With him, you always feel warmly welcomed.

Jimmy

Head of the Pavilion

With his grumpy yet kind-hearted nature, he manages to be loved by everyone. He appreciates simple pleasures but insists that everything must be in its place—a detail that ensures the smooth operation of this iconic spot. Behind his occasionally gruff exterior lies a warm personality, carefully overseeing this welcoming space where everyone feels at home.

Sébastien

Head of the Kitchen

He’s a true man of the field—in every sense of the word. Always ready to map out trails or share the hidden gems of our region, he embodies the warmth and passion at the heart of our event. A devoted Land Rover enthusiast, he’s now also the driving force behind the kitchen: whether he’s behind the stove or sharing a hearty meal, he makes sure everyone enjoys a warm and flavourful experience. A bon vivant always surrounded by family, he brings his energy and good spirit to everything he does. Versatile and ever willing, he’s never afraid to lend a hand where needed—but it’s now in the kitchen that he truly shines, turning it into a space of shared joy and authentic flavours.

Coralie

Head of the Kitchen

She is the indispensable figure behind the stove. Always present and attentive, she ensures everything is prepared to perfection to delight everyone. Friendly and quick-witted, she makes the kitchen as welcoming as it is efficient. With her dedication and commitment, every meal is a success.

Guillaume

Head of Tracks and Terrain

He’s the soul of the site and the king of the trails – always there to ensure each participant lives a unique adventure. A true bon vivant, often with a drink in hand, he embodies warmth and camaraderie, even when he grumbles a little – usually thanks to his temperamental Land Rovers. Still, he never backs down from lending a hand and tirelessly works to bring joy to everyone around. His goal? To see every face light up with happiness. His attentiveness to others and his dedication make him an essential figure of the event, capable of turning any challenge into an unforgettable moment.

Caroline

Head of Marketing and Administration

She represents the new generation with passion and enthusiasm. A personality impossible to miss—you’ll hear her before you see her! A bon vivant, she juggles her marketing talents and her role at the canopy with boundless energy. Always ready to raise a glass, she’s far less enthusiastic when it comes to early mornings. An essential figure, both for the organization and the atmosphere.

Jérôme

Jack-of-all-trades

He’s the kind of guy who can do just about anything, always ready to lend a hand when needed. Whether it’s out on the field, helping with the organisation, or stepping in at the last minute, he’s always there — smiling and full of energy. With a life full of experience, he’s never short on stories — and he’s more than happy to share them! Sure, he talks a lot, but people love listening to him because he’s engaging and always good for a laugh. He puts people at ease, creates a friendly vibe, and knows how to bring folks together. Thanks to him, the event feels warm, down-to-earth, and full of good spirit.
